One way to spend your Shabbot, even if it’s on a Sunday:
At home, livestreaming from your church, eating cold spaghetti, toast, and drinking a glass of Riesling.
It’s just one of those days. One of those days you just want to be home. Knitting while you listen to the sermon? Why not. Kissing the sweet sleeping cat in between food prep? Sure. Smiling, as your pastor and his wife celebrate their anniversary on the screen. They are a good family. And after a sermon: a walk under the rain-washed blue sky, drinking in the early autumn chill.
God is good.
